Moderate Conservatives are True Conservatives

The Republican started out as the more liberal of the two parties, as it was against slavery. Ironically, the Republicans became in favor of segregation (as were DINOs). The moderates, however, weren't. These moderates, such as Nelson Rockefeller & Barry Goldwater, dominated the party. However, in 1980, the Republican party became dominated by two separate yet equally important groups: the Judeo-Christians, who are against anything that contradicts their religion; and the “Family Values” crusaders, who hate  anything that would offend 1950s American values. Republicans aren't supposed to be like this. The Republican's official positions are (as presented on the site): a rather hawkish foreign policy, they are against government run healthcare, they promote energy independence, they promote a voucher system, they believe in a free market economy, & that a judge's job is to interpret the law. That last one reflects judicial conservatism, which is to the Constitution as the Judeo-Christian conservatives are to Genesis. Though, these two groups are completely Unconstitutional. The Constitution guarantees complete & utter separation between Church & State. It also guarantees Freedom of speech & the right to pursue happiness as long as no one is harmed, which goes against the policies of the FVC.  Also, the more conservative Democrats became neo-cons in the 70s, whose "War on Terror" movement is to the PATRIOT ACT as Christianity is to the Bible. The movement goes against the fourth (occasionally the fifth) amendment.
