Supergood

I'm listening to "Too Hot to Stop" as I type this. This is a review of the 2007 critically acclaimed ilm, Greg Mottala's "Superbad". Now, this was produced by Apatow productions. Actors, writers, & producers common in Apatow films are called the Apatow group. My personal favorites are Michael Cera, Jonah Hill, & Seth Rogen. All of these appear in "Superbad", the latter being a co-producer. The two main characters are named after the producers. Seth (played by Hill) is a  satyric & foul-mouthed high school student who is the funniest character in the film. He is about to graduate along with his friend Evan (Cera). Evan is just as immature as Seth, though much more intelligent & charismatic. He is calm, cool, & collected, counter to Seth. He is to Seth as Broflovski is to Cartman. Little is told about the characters, (not even their last names are revealed). Evan has a crush on Becca, while Seth lusts after Jules (who shares his sense of humor). Evan, along with their friend Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) are about to attend Dartmouth. Fogell has a fake ID, which he plans to use to buy alcohol for the trio, as Jules is hosting a party, & they promised the girls they would bring alcohol (the ID is barely convincing.). Seth plans to get Jules drunk in order to have sex with her. He advises Evan to do the same. Evan reluctantly tags along Seth. I wouldn't want to spoil the plot (I had absolutely no knowledge of the plot before watching the film). I want to encourage the reader to watch the film, as it is quite enjoyable indeed. This is one of those coming of age films that make people who are younger then the characters hoping to eventually have a similar adventure, & the ones older wishing they did (If they did, they reminisce). I'd say this would be appropriate for fourth-graders with a basic training in profanity & obscenity. Please, for me, watch this film.
