A most excellent review

After I watched "The Meaning of Life", I watched "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure". Rufus (George Carlin!) from the year 2688 travels back in time to ensure Bill & Ted (Alex Winter & Keano Reeves) pass their history class. If they don't they will never start the band "Wyld Stallions", as Ted's father threatens to send him to a military school in a different state if they fail. The music is essential to the future. Rufus helps by giving them the time machine, which they use to travel through history collecting famous people. The historical figures try adapting to San Dimas, with little success. This film is for fan of "Saturday Night Live", science fiction, time travel, The 80s, or "The Matrix" (I fall into all five).
